Candle Care
We know you're excited to light your candle and so are we, but don't forget a few basics...
Trim the wick to ¼ of an inch before each burn for an even burn and to limit sooting of the wick (and trim the wick after each burn)!
When lighting for the first time, ensure the wax melts across the entire surface to prevent tunneling.
Do not burn your candle for more than 3-4 hours at a time (pro tip: this preserves the fragrance really well).
Do not let a candle burn all the way; best practice is to stop burning when there is ¼ inch of wax left in the vessel; keep the wax pool free of wick trimmings and debris.
Extinguish candle with a snugger, do not blow out. If the flame becomes too high, extinguish and let the candle cool before re-lighting.
Do not leave a burning candle unattended and leave out of reach of children and pets.
Never burn a candle on or near anything that can catch fire; keep burning candles away from drafts.
Always store your candles in a cool, dark area.
